Hi I'm Susanne,
Here's a little bit about myself: I was trained in Massage at BCMT, which has been referred to as the "Harvard" of Massage schools where I received Certification as a Massage Therapist. I then became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork; as well as earned an Associates in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy through BCMTs advanced degree program.
Therapeutic Massage has given me the tools to assist people to improve their quality of life. In a very short period of time I can see stress disappear, pain relieved, life outlooks improved... just from a few hours of therapeutic massage. Not only is this field incredibly rewarding an fulfilling, but it has helped me personally with my own health and back pain issues.
Besides studying massage, I have been studying in college or abroad for the past 20 years in a wide range of subjects: (Philosophy, Sociology, life-applicable living methodologies, as well as a blend of Eastern and Western studies of self-awareness, communication, the mind and self-improvement…)
Therapeutic Massage incorporates all of my studies, because of the innate connection of the mind and body.
I pride myself on being aware and observing the needs of my clients; and possess the skills necessary to meet their needs and goals in a therapeutic massage session.
I am a proponent of learning and improvement of self, and have a strong awareness of the human condition and a solid education in therapeutic massage to support my ability to provide you with an excellent massage.
